	History & Use Captain Cook first mentioned Tea Tree in 1772 during his voyage to Botany Bay, Australia. He and his crew made a tea from the leaves to prevent scurvy, thus the name Tea Tree. The aboriginal peoples have been using it to treat wounds long before that. Australian soldiers were issued Tea Tree oil as an antiseptic during World War II. Almost every household in Australia has a bottle. It has a fresh medicinal smell. Regardless, I found this stuff to be great for any skin issue. I do not have issue often, but when I do, it drives me crazy itching and re-injury. My wife turned me on to Tea Tree a few years back, and it really works. This site seems to be the best value for the stuff. Thanks Charlene!rn
